GROW UP
“Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.” Galatians 4:3-4 KJV
We are in the times of uncertainties. Evil is increasing and the best security apparatus can no longer guarantee man’s safety. A global health pandemic has left the world confused. Many things are happening and the hearts of many are failing them. But in the midst of these, it is time to stay focused on the fact that you belong to an unshakeable kingdom. We are no longer under bondage. Jesus has paid the supreme price and today we have absolute liberty in Him. However, you can only exercise this freedom and take all that belongs to you if you grow up.
“Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all” (Galatians 4:1 KJV). This scripture means that the blessing- the healing, breakthrough etc are yours but you can’t touch it. You can’t access it. You are not yet qualified and ready.
Apostle Paul declares in 1 Corinthians 13:11: “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things” (KJV). Beloved, you cannot access all that God has in store for you if you do not throw away childish things.
Maturity is not a function of age. Maturity is more than that. It is time you make up your mind not to think, ask and behave like a child anymore. Put off your childish ways. Put off the old man and his nature, embrace the new man after Christ and allow the Holy Spirit a free course in your life. It is time for you to assume a new unshakable level of commitment to the course and person of Christ. Take a decision today to arise and be all that the Lord has ordained for you to be.
