READ: 1 Corinthians 3:1-3

“And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. ” – 1 Corinthians 3:1

If your spirit is a tiny little undeveloped baby, it will not be able to influence your mind and your body. Man is made up of a spirit, a soul (mind) and a body. After you are born again, your spirit is a new-born baby. You have a new heart. The heart of a man is his spirit. As you know, the heart or the spirit of man is the seat of all our human behaviour. When the heart of a man is changed, his behaviour changes.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:45

After you are born again, a great change will come into your life if you grow up spiritually. What influence does a baby have on society? Very little! But if a baby grows up, it can have a great influence on society. All men who have influenced this world were once tiny little babies carried by their mothers.

Allow your spirit to grow into a “man” by feeding on the Word of God!

Allow your spirit to grow by speaking in tongues!

Allow your spirit to grow by fellowshipping regularly in the house of
God!

If your spirit is developed, it will influence your mind and your body. Your developed grown-up spirit will begin to show great changes in your life.
