GROWING IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE

1John 5:11-14 (TLB) And what is it that God has said? That he has given us eternal life and that this life is in his Son. So whoever has God’s Son has life; whoever does not have his Son, does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life. And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will.

There are so many believers who do not really know the kind of life they have received by putting their faith in Jesus. One reason for this is they are not focusing on Christ. Their focus is only on people around them and they think they are like those people because on the outside they look like them and feel like them, but that is not the truth.

You are in the world but you are not of the world; just as Jesus is not of the world, (John 17:14). You are of Christ. You are one with Him and the same life that is in Him is in you. This is God’s testimony of you. If you don’t believe this you are making God a liar, (1 John 5:10). God is not a man that He should lie or change His mind, (Num.23:19). The Bible says let God be true and every man a liar (Rom.3:4). Whose report will you believe? Will you believe what God is saying about you? Or what people, your past, your situation, your mind and your senses are saying about you? Don’t even look at the lives of other believers.

God says the same life that is in Christ is in you. The more you know and understand this, the more this life will manifest and find expression in you. Focus on Christ. Let the word (revelation) of Christ dwell in you richly, (Col.3:16). Fill yourself to stupor with the revelation of Christ. Let it take over your mind and consciousness.

Faith Declaration:
I have the same life that Christ has.

Prayer:
Father, please help me to fill myself with Christ’s revelation
