HAVE YOU RECEIVED GOD’S PERFECT LOVE?

1JOHN 4:18 (NLT, GNB), JEREMIAS 31:3 (NIV) *Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we’re afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. *There is no fear in love; perfect love drives out all fear. …love has not been made perfect in anyone who is afraid, …fear has to do with punishment. *…“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

God’s love for you is perfect, and receiving (understanding and believing) God’s perfect love for you will drive out all fear from your life. It will instill faith, boldness, and confidence in you in every aspect of your life. If you are experiencing fear or worry in your life right now, what you need is a revelation of how much God loves you. This is why you must always remember Christ and what He accomplished on the Cross. This is why we must always preach and focus on Christ’s Gospel. If we do this, when we find ourselves in any situation, we’ll be more conscious of what God has done for us through Christ to give us victory, than what we need to do to have victory.

God’s love is greater, deeper, longer, and higher than we can ever imagine or comprehend, and as we gain a better understanding of it, God’s fullness fills our lives (Eph.3:18-19). The Holy Spirit enables us to receive God’s love. He spreads God’s love in our hearts (Rom. 5:5). (1 John 4:16) God wants us to know and believe in His love for us. Do you believe God loves you as much as He loves Jesus? (John 17:23) You will live more boldly as the perfect love God has for you fills your heart. You will not be afraid of any foe or situation. “The Lord is my helper,” you will always tell yourself (Heb.13:5-6).

PRAYER:
Father, I thank you for your great and perfect love for me. Please fill my heart with the revelation of your perfect love for me
