HE IS RISEN

“He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,” Luke 24:6 (KJV)

Happy Resurrection to you! Today, the world is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He died to pay the full price and today He is alive. Jesus Christ conquered the last enemy of man which is death. You can now boldly say: “Oh death, where is your sting… Oh grave where is your victory?” This is because Jesus conquered death. He held captivity captive and gave gifts to man.

Unfortunately, though multiplied millions are jubilating today and singing “Hosanna,” few actually understand the full weight of the resurrection. Many are ignorant of the finished work of Calvary and the devil is taking advantage of that to keep the children of God in bondage. Beloved, when Jesus said it is finished, He meant every bit of that statement. The price for sin has been fully paid. The devil has no hold on you at all. When God looks at you, He looks at you through the finished work of the cross.

The truth is this: when Jesus went to the cross, He took your place. Every debt you owed, He paid and that is why sin can no longer have dominion over you. He represented you on the cross, took the stripes for you. He took the shame of the cross for you. He paid the full price and gave you the authority to use His name saying that whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever you lose on earth is loosed in Heaven.

You are God’s authorized agent. Your word carries power because it is backed by heaven. Are you aware of this? Do you know your right? Don’t just spend today dancing but also take time to reflect on who you are in Christ. Let the finished work of Jesus Christ not be in vain. You have all it takes to exercise dominion and Jesus wants to see you walking in dominion. That is what gives Him joy.
