By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household…

God opened the windows of heaven, and never-before-seen rain cascaded from the sky. The fountains of the deep broke open, and water gushed forth. Noah faced a flood.

Floods are inevitable in our lives. Noah faced a flood of judgment. We may be overwhelmed by a flood of fear, financial lack, physical trial, or family torment.

By faith, Noah teaches us how to navigate the unavoidable floods. If we cling to our faith, God has provided an ark of salvation to deliver us.

God warned Noah of the impending disaster. Noah was unprepared for rain, arks, and zoos. This had never been done before! He had a decision to make. Would he trust in the word of God or in his own intuition that said this was foolishness?

How many times have we deserted our faith to flounder in dark waters? Faith is not faith until it is tested. When we are tried by sickness, God becomes our Healer by faith. In our hour of need, God becomes our Provider by faith.

When the rains fall, when the storms rage, when the floods rise…face them with faith in the One Who will shut us in with Him and carry us safely to solid ground.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you walk through the storm with the confidence that God holds you in His hand. His answer is on the way. Victory is coming through the name of Jesus.
