For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

God’s Word – spoken by the mouth of a believer – is not a wish. It is a divine command of spiritual authority.

Before that command, demons tremble, angels bow, the waves obey, diseases are healed, poverty is crushed, darkness is defeated, and victory comes.

When we pray the Scriptures aloud, we come into agreement with His will. We do not need to wonder what to ask when we align our hearts to His purposes.

When we speak God’s Word, we acknowledge His wisdom for the issue that we face. First John 5:14-15 gives us confidence that if we ask anything according to the will of God, He will hear us and answer our petitions.

What role does the Word of God play in your life? Satan is not intimidated by the believer whose Bible is covered in a layer of dust. The person whose Bible is falling apart has a life that is not. Newspaper editor and publisher, Horace Greeley said, “It is impossible to enslave, mentally or socially, a Bible-reading people.” The Word of God is living and powerful – study it and speak it!

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Do not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation and life. Speak His Word, and watch God’s will be accomplished in your life!
