And behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).— Matthew 28:20 (AMPC)
Whatever you’re facing right now, God wants you to know that you’re never alone. Satan will try to convince you that you’re all alone and that no one understands how you feel, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only is God always with you, but many other believers know how you feel, have gone through what you’re going through, and they understand what you’re experiencing.
When you’re following God and making spiritual progress, Satan often brings difficulties to discourage you and make you feel isolated. I remember many years ago when God called me to do a new thing, and it required me to separate myself from many of the people and things that were dear to me. Oftentimes we have to let go of old things and ways so we can take hold of the new things that God has for us. I was very lonely in the beginning as I was establishing my new life, but God was with me every step of the way, and I made it to the other side.
If you’re battling loneliness and pain right now, look to Jesus for His strength. Know that He’s with you every moment, and He will move you forward. He has the ability to turn your mourning into joy, and He wants to comfort you. Trust God with all your heart, and refuse to let Satan steal your destiny. Rest in God’s love, knowing that He’s always with you.
Prayer Starter: Father, thank You for always being with me, and for giving the strength I need in every situation. Please help me remember that You’re right by my side no matter what. In Jesus’ Name, amen
