“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”
Hebrews 4:14 (KJV)
One of the lies of the devil is to overwhelm you with the events happening around you that you lose sight of the promises of God. Beloved, the fact that there are so many distractions is proof that God has answered you and the manifestation is closer than you can imagine.
Take a moment and think; remember when you have a wound and you are been careful to ensure that it heals without any infection. Suddenly, the wound becomes uncomfortable and you are tempted to scratch it. In fact, there are times that it appears that the fresh wound was easier to manage and tolerate that this dry stage of the wound. But if you understand the way the body functions, you would realise that the time that the wound itches badly is the time it is about to heal completely. If you are experienced or you are with someone who is, they would tell you to endure the itching because the wound is about to heal.
All truth is parallel; when the challenge seems huge and larger than life and everything appears to be caving in, hold fast to your confession. Stand your ground. Be determined that if anyone will give up, it would be the devil.
Why will you hold fast to your confession? It is because you are mindful of who your High Priest is. You know Him who paid the price and you know that if He could pay the ultimate price for your salvation, then there is nothing that is too big for Him to do or too small for Him to notice.
Declare the promises of God over your life in the morning, afternoon and night and watch them come to pass.
