HOLD ON TO GOD

“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)

Like never before, our position and relationship with the Lord must be clearly defined so that we may be able to withstand the vicissitudes of life. It must not be based on popular opinions or convenience. This has nothing to do with professional advice because we are dealing with spiritual issues. Many things are begging for our attention. That is why you see all kinds of billboards today.

There are very beautiful billboards across the cities that are all begging for your attention so that you can make a decision based on what they are advertising. Moreover, satanic activities are on the increase. So the responsibility lies on you to make up your mind to let your life be rooted and established on something immovable so that you can walk in victory

Your life and everything about you: family, finance, and business must be founded on something immovable. There are shakings all over the place, and you can see it all over the world. Every system is being shaken! Everything that man has built is being shaken. So it is very important to understand that when we gather as believers and fellowship around the word, it is not just a religious exercise or a ritual. It is to enable us to access the ingredients that God has made available to us as kingdom people; to enable us to stand in the midst of the shaking.

It was Paul who gave us an insight and revelation in the book of 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

These scriptures imply that your faith can stand in the wisdom of men. When your faith stands in the wisdom of men it has the margin of failure.
