HOW JESUS OBTAINED HIS LORDSHIP

Romans 14:8-9 (GNB), Philippians 2:8-9 (GNB) …So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For Christ died and rose to life in order to be the Lord of the living and of the dead. *He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death—his death on the cross. For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.

The knowledge of how Jesus obtained His Lordship will strengthen your faith and conviction of the Lordship of Jesus and it will make you experience more manifestations of the supernatural glory, blessings and power of God in your life. Jesus obtained His Lordship by His death and by His resurrection. You must let the revelation of the death of Christ and the revelation of His resurrection be very real to you. Study and meditate deeply on them. Allow the Holy Spirit make them flesh in you.

By His death, Jesus shed His blood to pay for all your sins (John 1:29) and He destroyed every power of death and evil that the devil had over you, (Heb.2:14-15). There is therefore no need to allow any fear put you in bondage anymore. The reason we have a living hope is because Jesus rose from the dead, (1Pet.1:3). Because of the resurrection of Jesus, our faith and preaching are not in vain, (1Cor.15:14). They are full of power. As the disciples gave witness of the resurrection of Jesus, great grace was upon them all, (Acts 4:33). If Christ did not rise from the dead, we will still be in our sins, (1Cor.15:17). We died with Him as sinners but we were raised with Him as saints and new creatures, (Rom.4:25). Because of the resurrection of Christ, our hope does not end in this world. Physical death does not end our lives.

PRAYER:
I thank you Father, for all that the death and resurrection of Jesus has made available for me. Fill me more with this revelation.
