HOW TO REMAIN IN THE FLOW OF THE BLESSING OF GOD

GALATIANS 3:1-2, 5 (GNB) YOU FOOLISH GALATIANS! Who put a spell on you? Before your very eyes you had a clear description of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross! …did you receive God’s Spirit by doing what the Law requires or by hearing the gospel and believing it? *Does God give you the Spirit and work miracles among you because you do what the Law requires or because you hear the gospel and believe it?

What makes us experience the flow and manifestation of the blessing of God in our lives is that we have put all our faith in Jesus and the wonderful things that He has done for us on the Cross. When we take our faith away from Jesus and begin to put our faith in our works or any other thing, we hinder the flow and manifestation of the power, blessing and glory of God in our lives. Abraham was blessed because of his faith and by our faith in Christ we share the same blessing Abraham had, (Gal.3:9).

The believers in the Galatia had clearly received the revelation of Christ and it was so real to them, but they allowed themselves to be influenced by people who made them feel they had to obey the Law or depend on their human effort to be accepted and blessed by God. One reason this happens is that many times the message of God’s grace seems too simple and too good to be true, but it is this good news about Christ and His works for us that makes us experience the glory and the power of God, (Rom.1:16, 1Cor.1:24).

When our faith is always totally on Jesus and His works for us, our faith will be strong and our lives will remain under the influence of God’s glory, power and blessings. This is God’s desire for our lives.
