For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ

The Holy Communion unites all members in one body. This table makes no room for sexism, racism, materialism or denominationalism. We are one.

In Christ’s family, we are equal. He does not play favorites between males and females. All of us were created by Him with unique gifts, each designed with a specific role and an assignment to accomplish.

In God’s house, everybody is somebody! He died for every color, every tongue, and every people group. Around the world, every person is valued and accepted in the Beloved. Racism has no place at the table of God.

In America, materialism has become a god. People with lesser means are often considered “lesser than.” James 2 warns against showing partiality to the rich or prominent; he says that God has actually chosen the poor to be rich in faith. We all stand equally needy at the foot of the cross.

God did not send His Son to the cross so that denominations would spring up to squabble over doctrines and differences. He created us to dwell together in unity, to demonstrate His love, and to preach the saving grace of Jesus.

Male or female, black or white, prince or pauper, Presbyterian or Pentecostal – we are one.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be united with the family of God to fulfill His purposes in this world. Rise up to take your place in the Church Triumphant!
