If It Is The Lord

BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 16-18

TEXT: “And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the shop, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14 :28 – 29.

The circumstance in which Peter asked the Lord, if He was the one, He should bid him to come may not exactly be the same as yours, because it all boils down to the fact that no matter the venture you want to embark on or have embarked on, it is necessary to ascertain if it is the Lord’s will or Him asking you to do it. When you enquire of him, His response gives you a solid base to stand and walk on, just as the Lord said, ‘come’ to Peter and he walked on that word to go to Jesus.

Child of God, it is not enough to begin anything or take a step on any proje t of life without knowing if the Lord is behind it. Human emotions and worldly desires has led many to embark on task which the Lord never intended for them. Granted, before men it is may seem good and nice, but is it God’s perfect will for you? Human feelings has forced many into doing things which may give them accolades before men but not, the pass mark of God

Hear me, if it is Jesus that asked you relocate from the city to that village, you don’t have to be afraid of how your needs would be met. Hold on to the command and assuring word He gave you and obey. He is too faithful not to fulfill His promise. By that act of obedience, He will glorify Himself in your life. The difference is the God in a man, that determines the man in the place.
You can’t carry God to that village and turn it to a city. God accompanies those who move in the direction He orders.

Therefore no matter the challenges you are undergoing in that business, career or assignment of yours which the Lord asked you to engage in, it will turnaround in your favour.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to always enquire your will in all my endeavors.
