In Darkness

BIBLE READING: 2 Samuel 1-3

TEXT: “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60 :2.

Light is pronounced in darkness, the thicker the darkness, the more visible the light. In this season of gross darkness all over the world, it is time for you who is the light of the world to shine forth the light of the glorious gospel of Christ in you revealing the solution to the problems and challenges in the world. That is why Isaiah 60:1 commands, “Arise, shin; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”

And verse 3 says, “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

You don’t have to join others to complain. Not at all! It is not permitted in your kingdom. You are the light of the world and should Manifest as light. “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Rom. 8 :19. The solution they seek is in you.

The church is the answer to the questions out there. There is always a lifting up with light no matter the cast down experienced in the world. (Job 22 :29).

How then can one generate this light? First and foremost, you must have Jesus who is life which is the light of men. (John 1 :4 &, Ps. 36 :9; Jn. 8 :12). When you receive Jesus you were translated into the kingdom of his dear son, the kingdom of Light. (Col. 1 :13).

Secondly, you must fellowship consistently with the word of God putting it in your spirit for the word of God is Jesus (Rev. 19 :13; John 1 :14), and it is light. Psa. 119 :105. And finally, you must walk in the light, being a doer of the word. 1 John 1 :7; says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another…” “… he that doeth truth cometh to the light…”
John 3 :21.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, my light shall shine gloriously in darkness.
