INCREASE YOUR SPEAKING OF GOD’S WORD

Proverbs 18:20-21, Psalms 81:10

A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: ….*I am your only God, the living God. Wasn’t I the one who broke the strongholds over you and raised you up out of bondage? Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be!

Do you know that in the story of the prophet’s widow and her sons, the oil did not stop flowing when there were no more vessels? It stopped flowing when her son said there were no more vessels (2Kings 4:6). If they had gone to neighboring streets or towns to get more vessels, that oil would have continued flowing and they could have possibly began an oil selling factory. Their capacity limited their experience of God’s abundance.

Your mindset will affect your confessions (Luke 6:45) and your confessions will affect your experience. You shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23). In the King James Version, our second text above says, “I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.” Do not just open your mouth, open it wide! Speak and declare more of God’s word and what you desire. Stop limiting yourself with your words and stop limiting God with your words. Don’t stop speaking God’s word and what you desire. God told Moses to tell the Israelites, “…as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you, (Numb.14:28b).

Do not allow your condition, what others are saying or how you feel limit the words you speak, (Job 22:29). Speak even more!

Action Point:
Boldly declare God’s word into your life and declare your desires. Declare them as your present reality.
