Memorise: All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 1 Corinthians 6:12

BIBLE READING: 1 Corinthians 6:11-14

  1. And such were some of you but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
  2. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
  3. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
  4. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

Bible Reading In One Year: Psalms 103-104; Romans 14

MESSAGE:

The world has become a global village with the use of the internet. The internet no doubt has a lot of advantages, however, if not carefully managed, it could be to the detriment of its user.

One of the ills of internet is addiction. Any user of the internet has the tendency to be addicted to it. Hence, time that should be spent on other profitable things such as studying the Bible, studying your books et cetera could be wasted while browsing through the internet.

Another ill of the internet is the devil and his cohorts use it as a tool to make people commit sin against God through pornography, ungodly games et cetera. But do you know that you can use the internet wisely?, You can share the gospel via the internet. So rather than post pictures, watch x-rated movies, and make nasty comments on social media, use it to preach the gospel. Drop a scripture for people to read. Share what you gained from a godly book you read or message you listened to. Plan your time wisely and this includes time spent on social media.

Action Point:

Send a broadcast on salvation today.

Hymn: When We Walk With The Lord

  1. When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way,
While we do His good will,
    He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Chorus:
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

  1. Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away,
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
  2. Not a burden we bear,
    Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay,
Not a grief nor a loss,
Not a frown nor a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
  3. But we never can prove
    The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay,
    For the favour He shows,
    And the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
  4. Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way,
What He says we will do,
Where He sends, we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
