“Iron sharpens iron; so one man sharpens another.” – PROVERBS 27:17

To better understand this verse, I called an engineer friend. He detailed the process including the change that takes place in the iron during the sharpening. He also went on to explain that taking two pieces of the metal, heating them up and hammering them together increases the tensile strength, resulting in a piece better able to hold up under stress and pressure.

We could all use a trusted “ironman” in our lives. The sharpening process both strengthens and equips us to become the men and women God created us to be and to accomplish what He called us to do.

So, let me ask you: How is your tensile strength? Could you benefit from the sharpening of a trusted “ironman?”
