IS HE LORD OVER YOUR LIFE?

“…THE SAME LORD OVER ALL IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM.”

-Romans 10:12-

Everyone God created is related to Him in some way, but the highest of all relationships is making GOD Lord over you. Our relationship with God can be seen in three different levels. He is our creator and this relates to everyone He created whether they accept it or not. He is also your Father, when you accept Jesus as Saviour of your soul. Lastly, He can be your Lord when your life is sown as a seed in dedication and absolute commitment unto Him.

Allowing God to be Lord over you entails that you readily and willing say “Yes, Lord” to all of His plan, purpose and will for your life. This is the level that God desires for each and every one of His children. It is not enough to make Him Father over you, but much more you must graduate to allowing God be the Lord over you. When He becomes your Lord, nothing can stop the accomplishment of His glorious plans for you.

My husband once made a vow to God that he would have God be Lord of all, or not Lord at all. That means he handed everything about him over to God; and see where He has taken and is still taking him to today! You too can make that decision to accord God this intimate relationship of being your Lord, by following excitedly and willingly His plans for you per time as written in the Bible. Make Him the sole foundation of your life and watch where He takes you to.

There is no other relationship in life that compares in value, and/or can equal and replace your relationship with God. Therefore today, the question is: Is He Lord over your life? Can you safely rely on His plans for you? If you are not sure of your answers, then you must consciously make Him Lord today. You can change the gear of your relationship by relating with Him with a deeper knowledge of who He is.
