IT IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER
“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18 KJV
The Christian life is progressive! It is from grace to grace and from glory to glory. Whatever testimonies you may have had thus far is nothing to be compared to what God is yet to do in your life. Your present situation may not look like it, but I challenge you to believe God for the best.
Often, when believers take a look at their lives they are tempted to judge themselves from the perspective of the world. The result is that they lay the cards on the table and begin to compare themselves with others. It is okay to aspire to greater heights but you need to understand that God deals with and sees you differently from those in the world. One day with the Lord is like a thousand years and a thousand years is but like a day in His sight. God is not controlled by time; He does not live in time. You are the one that lives in time and so certain things can only happen at His own appointed time. Remember that all things work together for good to them who love God and are called according to His purpose. If you truly love God and you are called by Him, fret not because it can only get better for you.
That same grace that took away the reproach of slavery from Esther shall work for you. Apostle Paul puts it this way: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
Beloved, God’s Word is not void of power. The truth is that there is a glory that God has prepared for you and you will certainly partake of it.
