IT IS OF HIS MERCIES THAT WE ARE NOT CONSUMED

“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”Lamentations 3:22 (KJV)Beloved, if you can think, then you can thank. Just stop and think of all that has happened in your life this year. Think of the overwhelming storms you have passed through. Think of the mighty deliverances. Many went through less than half of what you have gone through but are no more. Many are out there wishing to be in your shoes, but they are no where today. Beloved, don’t be overwhelmed to the point of forgetting the goodness of God.I know the year is running out. I know some of the desires are still outstanding. I know you are not where you want to be. But I also know that you are not where you were this time last year. Yes, through the thick and thin, God has been with you. You may have lost a loved one in the year, you may have lost a business or maybe you have unrealized dream, but in it all, if you look closely, you will discover several reasons to praise God.In praising God, I need you to look beyond yourself. Thank Him for your family, your business and everyone He has brought your way. Thank Him for the church and all the networks that have added value to your life. Try to itemize the reasons to thank God and then you will find out that there are many more reasons to adore Him, worship Him and roll before Him in appreciation.Like I will always say, touch yourself, look into the mirror and appreciate God for the numerous blessings in your life. Indeed, His compassions fail not. Think of the benefit of salvation. Can you imagine being alive in the Old Testament days? How many animals would you have slaughtered? How many birds? Would you have survived the instant judgement of God? Nations today have done worst things than Sodom and Gomorrah, yet in His mercies we have not been wiped out. The open-air sodomy going on today all over the world leaves you cringing, yet the mercy of God is still reaching out to save. Indeed, it is of His mercies that we are not consumed. Let’s appreciate Him for He alone deserves all the glory.Further Reading: Lamentations 3: 21-36Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Ezekiel 45-46; Evening- 1 John 2
