JESUS: GOD’S PERFECT IMAGE AND UNIVERSE’S ADMINISTRATOR

Hebrews 1:3 (TPT)

The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One.

By focusing our attention and focus on Jesus, we can truly know and understand how loving, beautiful, and magnificent God is. This is why the only way to truly worship God is to worship Him for who He is and what He has done for us through Jesus on the Cross. The work of redemption that God accomplished for us on the Cross through Christ is God’s greatest work of all time. This is why we must keep our eyes fixed on Christ and fill ourselves with His revelation. We must seek to know Christ more deeply and comprehend all that He accomplished for us through His Cross.

Our text above reveals yet another astounding aspect of Christ’s glory. God did not only create everything through Christ, but also coordinates and keeps everything running smoothly. His power, authority, and influence extend beyond us and this planet into the entirety of the universe. According to the Living Bible, He rules over the universe. According to the text above, He holds the universe together and expands it. It’s no surprise that science is constantly discovering new things about the universe. I am pleased to inform you, Beloved, that your life is in very capable hands. Jesus is also holding your life together and will continue to regulate, coordinate, and expand it for God’s glory.

Prayer:
Father, please keep opening my eyes to the revelation of who Jesus is. I thank you for how Jesus is holding and expanding my life
