Jesus is in your boat

Luke 5:1-4 (LB) One day as he was preaching on the shore of lake Gennesaret, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the Word of God. He noticed two empty boats standing at the water’s edge while the fishermen washed their nets. Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, it’s owner, to push out a little into the water, so that he could sit in the boat and speak to the crowds from there. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your net and you will catch a lot of fish!”

There is no place that Jesus is present that remains the same. The earth did not remain the same after he came into it. Peter’s life and boat similarly did not remain the same after Jesus entered. Because Jesus is in our life, your life and everything around you cannot remain the same. In the same way that Jesus used Peter’s boat to preach the gospel and to reach so many lives, I can see Him using all that you engage in as a platform to touch and bless so many lives.

Jesus did not just use Peter’s boat, He blessed Peter’s boat and business. Jesus gave Peter hope and direction to experience a harvest he had never dreamed of experiencing before. I can see Jesus filling your heart with divine hope today. You will hear his voice and your heart will be filled with His wisdom and direction. Every fear and confusion is leaving your heart right now. You will know the right thing to do and as you do it, you will experience growth, increase and expansion. In His boat encounter, Jesus showed Peter His grace and simultaneously used the entire encounter to recruit him into harvesting souls for God’s Kingdom.

I decree into your life a fresh encounter of the grace of God that will overflow into the lives of others. You will not only better understand Gods’ grace, you will experience it manifesting in every area of your life. You will spread the gospel of the grace of God in Christ Jesus unto other. As Jesus arose when there was a storm in the boat and He calmed the storm (Mark 4:36-39), I declare that right now the glory of Christ in you has arisen and every storm in your life has ceased right now. The peace of Christ is prevailing all around you. You have the victory! You are more than conquerors! You have overcome!
