“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27 KJV
Many people think peace comes by stopping war. No, that’s not peace. That you’re fighting with your husband and someone comes to separate you is not peace. When we are talking about peace, we are talking about the personality. We’re talking about the Prince of Peace. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Jesus Christ is our peace! As long as the world is looking for peace from any other source, they will continue to be in confusion. If you have not met this Prince of Peace, then you have not left the confusion of the world.
One day He will say enough is enough. The clouds will break. He will descend from the cloud at the voice of the arch-angels and with the trump of God. The dead in Christ shall rise first. The only thing that will prevent you from having His Peace is if you refuse the gift of His Son.
The Bible says His thoughts towards us are the thought, of peace, not the thoughts of evil, to give us an expected end, or to give us a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11). So, God is thinking about you right now. Even if no one is thinking about you, you can be encouraged that God Almighty is thinking about you. So, don’t worry about those that said they would not be praying for you. Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace is the One interceding on your behalf now. All hell may be breaking loose and things may have gone haywire all around you. The world may be in a cup of trembling and nothing appears to be making sense. But the Bible is very clear. It says in John 16:33, “These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
