JESUS, THE GIFT WITH A LIFT
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”Luke. 2:11 (KJV)We can never thank God enough for the gift of His only begotten Son. It has been rightly said that when God gave us Jesus, He gave His best. Jesus is the reason for the season. Without Him, there will be no Christmas. Many people get caught up in the issue of dates: was Jesus really born on the 25th of December? Beloved, don’t be caught up in irrelevancies. Question is was Jesus born? The answer is YES. Interestingly, even the weather adjusts to celebrate His birth. We are in that season where multiplied millions all over the world are celebrating the birth of Jesus. The sad part is that a large number are celebrating someone they do not even know. Can you imagine a birthday celebration without the celebrant? That is what multiplied thousands and indeed millions are doing. Thank God for those who already know Him. As you celebrate His birth, reach out to someone today. Share the good news. Jesus is the gift with a lift. When He comes into your life, He makes all things new.Do you know Him? If you don’t, please don’t feel condemned, you can know Him today. Only pray this prayer: Almighty God, I come to you today, I know that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself, that is why I come. Jesus, I believe that you came to this world, you died and rose again and you paid the supreme price for my sin. I confess you today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for accepting me into your family. Thank you Lord for opening my eyes to see you today, in Jesus’ name.If you prayed that prayer from your heart, welcome to the family of God. You can send me an email at trem@trem.org and I will be glad to be in touch with you.Remember: Jesus is the reason for the season. God bless you real good is my prayer. Compliments of the season.Further Reading: Luke 2: 1 – 20Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Zephaniah; Evening- Revelation 16
