And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it

When the king discovered that Naaman had come to Israel to be cured of leprosy, he was terrified. He had no ability to heal, and failure to do so meant war with Syria (II Kings 5). He had position but no power.

The prophet, Elisha, calmly invited Naaman to his home. Elisha had power that did not arise from wealth, might, or office. When he hit his knees, all of heaven moved on his behalf. Like Elisha, we hold the position and the power to change the world.

Each one of us faces impossible situations, unsolvable problems, and unanswerable questions. Without God’s intervention, we have no hope for change. But when we ask in Jesus’ name, all of the capability and authority of our Father come to bear on our circumstances.

In His mighty name, we can tear down every barrier that the enemy has built against God’s truth. With the Lord on our side, Satan may come at us in one way, but he will be scattered in seven different directions (Deuteronomy 28:7).

When we cry out from the position of humbled hearts and bended knees, there is nothing that God will not do for us! That is the power of prayer.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Boldly make your requests known to the God Who never fails. Know that your prayers are powerful and effective when you place your confidence in Him!
