If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you

The living water of the Word of God is 100% pure and necessary for spiritual growth (Proverbs 30:5). Any religious source, word, book, doctrine or denomination that does not align with His Word is outside of the will of God and should be denounced.

The Word of God has been tested and approved. The youngest child can find instruction in its pages. Mature believers have learned that they can stand upon it solid and secure.

For its power to impact our lives, we must apply it. We must read it, speak it, and exercise it! Jesus told the disciples that He had applied the Word to their lives and had washed off the contamination of the world.

As we apply the water of His Word to our lives, Jesus washes us clean. He lifts us out of our sinful pasts and painful habits. As the written word takes root in our hearts, we begin to speak its truths out loud. When we speak it over situations, it becomes the living Word that transforms.

When our desires are based on the living Word derived from the spoken Word based on the written Word, we can ask what we desire. And it shall be done.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May the written Word that you speak from your mouth become a living promise in your life. Ask and receive. Seek and find. Knock and the door will open. Amen and amen!
