If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you

God gave Noah a promise before he ever got into the watery predicament! In spite of the coming flood, He vowed to establish His covenant with Noah and his family. That promise helped Noah persevere!

Even though most of us have not heard the audible voice of God like Noah, He has spoken His word to us too. Every promise recorded in the Bible belongs to every believer who reads it for himself or who hears it spoken by a pastor, teacher or evangelist.

Every Scripture is God’s message, opened up to share His heart with you. He longs to meet you in the moment of need and demonstrate His love and provision. He instructs you in paths of righteousness, so abundance will fill every corner of your life.

He remembers His word. It will not return to Him empty, but it will accomplish every purpose for which He sends it (Isaiah 55:11). Everywhere it is voiced, it prospers.

Silence the noise of the outside world. Cease listening to the opinions of people with limited understanding. Stop staring at the circumstances in which you are mired.

Abide in His Word. Allow His promises to take up residence in your heart. He remembers His Word. When you remember it, too, He will fulfill it for you.

Today’s Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Every word of God is truth and life! Take joy in His promises to you. He does all things well.
