TEXT: “Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the righteous cut off?”. Job 4 :7.

Our teaching continue on the judgment of men. Job was befallen by human calamities and finally health was even attacked. His wife in Job 2 :9; advised him to curse God and die, his friends accused him that he was being punished for his sin. Men’s judgement are so correct to them that they tend to take the place of God in passing judgement. Even when job defended himself, the friends refused to believe him.

What about Paul in Acts 28 :4; “And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea,yet vengeance suffereth not to live”. This was the judgment on Paul after passing through a ship wreck and surviving it.

What about Jesus, our saviour? Matthew 11 :18 – 19; “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children”. See the assessment.

No matter what you do, men always have their judgement that is why Jesus did not commit himself to men John 2 :24; “But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men”

I pray for you, that you will not be distracted by the judgment of men on the path of destiny, but focus on God the one who created you, called you, sent you and also leading you to your destiny.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, help me to see your glory in every situation.
