KEEP DECLARING THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS OVER YOUR LIFE
Romans 10:11-13 (AMPC)
The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him […] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith]. For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.
Jesus became Lord of all through His death, burial, and resurrection (Rom. 14:9), but He will not impose His saving Lordship and power on anyone. He will only reveal His power and Lordship to those who accept Him as Lord and believe in His death, burial, and resurrection. “But to those who received and welcomed Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become God’s children, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name,” (John 1:12, AMPC). As you declare that Jesus is Lord over your life, you experience God’s saving power from sin and the devil’s bondage, but that’s not all. You also experience God’s saving power and intervention in all situations and in every area of your life.
As stated in our text, you will not be put to shame or disappointed because you believe in Him. You will behold Christ’s riches and glory. Jesus will demonstrate His Lordship (complete control and authority) over that situation and area of your life. Remember that He has become Lord of all through His death, burial, and resurrection. He has been given all power in Heaven and on Earth (Matthew 28:18). Declare Jesus to be the Lord over that area of your life.
Faith Declaration:
I believe in Jesus. Jesus is Lord of my life. Because of my faith in Jesus I will not be ashamed or disappointed.
