KEEP STANDING
‘’And yet I am strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.’’ Joshua 14:11 KJV
The world we live in today is not favourable so you must consciously make up your mind to stand as you run the Christian race. God sent twelve spies to spy out the land and they came back with the good of the land. On the other hand, ten came back with an evil report contrary to what God had said. Only two believed God and stood for 40 years on God’s ability to bring to pass what He had said.
When you stand on God’s word, the enemy will surely throw things along your pathway just to ensure you don’t make it, but you must refuse to give up. The enemy has a way of painting pictures of impossibilities and if you stop to ponder over it, you will not arrive at your destination. Joshua was one of the 12 spies who wholly followed the Lord and stood on what he believed for 45 years. Caleb his companion was 85 years old and he had the testimony of saying he was as strong as he was 40 years before they spied out the land. They both had testimonies because they stood on what God had said to them.
The challenge today is that we are quick to waver because of little obstacles and challenges. I come to encourage you to stay put because what you are seeing today is subject to change. Standing means you are resilient, bold and consistent; it also means that you would not take no for an answer. Joseph stood for years even though he was maligned and accused. At the end of the day, his standing lifted him up.
When you stand, God will turn your situation around. You will surely testify.
