KEEP WALKING IN LOVE
John 15:4 (AMPC) Galatians 5:22a (KJV, TPT), 1 John 2:10 (AMPC) Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.But the fruit of the Spirit is love…But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:..*Whoever loves his brother [believer] abides (lives) in the Light, and in It or in him there is no occasion for stumbling or cause for error or sin.

As a believer, there is something about walking in love that keeps you from stumbling or falling in life. There will be many times that people will do things that will make us want to hate them, but the Bible says,“He that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he is going, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes,” (1John 2:11). 1John 3:15 also says, “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer.” Hatred will make you think, say and do things that will not glorify God. Things you will regret about later. Love on the other hand makes you give life and hope to people and it glorifies God.
Walking in love is a major way the life of Christ is developed and manifested in us. Christ remained loving even to the people that were crucifying Him. He prayed for them for God to forgive them because they knew not what they were doing, (Luke 23:34). They did not know how what they were doing was actually working out God’s will and plan. As a child of God, there is nothing that anybody will do to you that can stop the will and plan of God for your life. Instead of it to stop you, it will work out for your good and hasten the will and plan of God for your life, (Rom.8:28).
The things that those who hated Jesus did to Him only helped to promote Him in the will of God for His Life. You also have this same life that Jesus has and whatever anyone does to you will only promote you in the Will of God for your life. By God’s resurrection power, you will always rise to a new and better level. There is therefore no need to hate anybody. Just love them and pray for them like Jesus said we should,
(Matt.5:44). The only way we can continue walking in love is by abiding in Christ. His love will continually fill us and overflow from our lives.
Prayer Focus:
Receive the abundant love of Christ into your life right now and ask God to help you keep walking in love no matter what people do to you.
