Let it Flow!

John 7:37-39 (LB), John 4:14 (TPT)
…Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of anyone who believes in me.” (He was speaking of the Holy Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him…) *…if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never be thirsty again. For when you drink the water I give you, it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, flooding you with endless life!”

When Jesus said “if anyone is thirsty” in our first text above, He was referring to every need or desire that we will ever have in our lives. When He referenced ‘rivers’ of living water flowing out of our belly or inmost being, He was saying that by His Spirit, we receive His super abundance and solutions for every situation in our life. As such, in any situation we find ourselves, multiple solutions for that situation will flow out from us. By the Spirit of God in us, we will receive divine revelation on what to do and say in order to have victory in that situation. We will also be granted the ability to say and do them.

Always remember that God has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness (2Pet.1:3), He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing (Eph.1:3), you are complete in Christ (Col.2:10) and you have the Spirit of God living in you (Rom.8:11). Now, ask yourself this, “Is the Spirit of God limited in any way?” or “does the Spirit of God in me have the ability to triumph in this situation?” Beloved, at every given point in time, you are filled to overflowing with abundant solutions for every challenge or situation. All you need do is, let it flow! Let the resources of the Spirit flow out from inside you.

The flow of the Spirit is determined by the filling of the Spirit or the extent to which you are conscious of Him and bring yourself under His influence (Eph.5:18). Every time you are fellowshipping with God and reminding yourself of God’s love, promises, His presence and power with you and all Christ has done for you, you are drinking of the Spirit and Hebis filling you up to overflow. Yield to the Spirit now and flow!

Prayer:
Rejoice and thank God for His glorious abundance in you by His Spirit. Begin to release divine resources and solutions into your life.
