LET YOUR FAITH STAND IN THE POWER OF GOD

“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)Our position and relationship with the Lord must be clearly defined so that you will be able to withstand the vicissitudes of life. Our relationship with God is not based on popular opinion. It is not based on convenience. And it has nothing to do with professional advice because we are talking about spiritual issues here. There are many things begging for our attention and that’s why you see all kinds of billboards today, very beautiful billboards across cities. They are all begging for attention so that you can make a decision based on what they advertise. You will also agree with me that in the world we are living in, satanic activities are also on the increase. So now the responsibility lies on you to make up your mind to overcome. If you must overcome, then your life must be rooted and established on something that is immovable. Which is the Word! Your life and everything about you must be founded on something that is immovable because the shakings are on. Every system and everything that man has built is being shaken. So, it is very important for you to understand that when we gather in an atmosphere, we don’t just gather because of religious exercise or a ritual. It is to enable you to access the ingredients that God has made available to us as kingdom people. This will enable you to stand and keep standing even when the shakings are over. This is because after every shaking something will always remain. It was Paul who gave us an insight in 1Corinthians 2:5: when he said, “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”. That means it is possible for faith to stand in the wisdom of men. When your faith stands in the wisdom of men it has the margin for failure, but when it stands on the word of God, it stands sure for ever.Further Reading: 1 Corinthians 2:1-9, Romans 1:16-17Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Hosea 5-8; Evening- Revelation 2
