LET YOUR HEART BE DEVOTED TO GOD

‘’And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.’’

Genesis 8:20. KJV

When Noah built that altar and put that sacrifice on the altar, something happened: “And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done” (Genesis 8:21 KJV). Paul also describes sacrificial giving in the book of Philippians 4:18 as: “…an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God” (KJV).

God smelled a sweet savour! But the sweetest part of it was what God said in His heart, ‘’I will no more smite the earth.’’ There is a way you can touch God’s heart that will position you for great favour. Because of Noah’s sacrifice, God said: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22 KJV).

Spiritual things are not understood by human reasoning. It is by revelation. When you receive a revelation, it comes with power. It is not about money but it’s about a heart that is devoted to God. It is about understanding that we owe our lives to Him. Money is the least as far as the kingdom is concerned. With or without you, God will still do what He wants because the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. It is a privilege that God will even choose to look in your direction and ask for anything. When He does that to you, count it as a great honour.

I declare that your story will never end in shame. Favour will attend your life. Favour will speak for you. Favour will open doors for you. Favour will enlarge you and increase you.
