LIVING AS A KING, SERVING AS A PRIEST

Redemption brings us into sonship but priesthood places on us responsibility of stewardship. Revelation 5:9, 10.

One may be a son and not be serving. Malachi 3:17, 18.

Sonship will qualify you to inherit promises but it is servanthood that will entitle you to rewards.

Servanthood is a show of responsibility and commitment.

Serving God turns you into a jewel and jewels are precious to be treasured. Psalm 43:4.

Serving God gives you a right standing before God.

Isaiah 38:1-5 – Hezekiah.

Hezekiah used his servanthood to negotiate for life extension by 15 years.

Children in homes are classified as equal in rights but precious in measure or responsibilities accepted by each person.

You are as precious to God as your usefulness to Him.

Job 1:5-9 – Job.

Psalm 91:14-16 – David.

Exodus 9:13 – Israel.

I am not serving God in vain; I am serving Him for gains – Psalm 45:19.

I am not serving God for nothing; I am serving Him for everything – Exodus 23:25-28.
