LOOK BEYOND YOUR CHALLENGES

“Let thine eyes look right on and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.” Proverbs 4:25 KJV

Beloved, God says look straight ahead beyond where you are with confidence because it will   turn out right. Don’t hang your head down in shame because that is exactly what the devil wants you to do. When you hang your head down in shame, you can only see dust and a cursed ground. In Luke 13:12, Jesus looked at that woman bowed over for 18 years and said: “Woman you are loosed from your infirmity”(NKJV). In other words, the law has put you down when you are supposed to look straight.

When Lot left Abraham, Abraham was looking round. In Genesis Chapter 13 verse 11, Lot took what supposedly was the best place. But in verse 14, God came to Abraham when Lot had departed from him and said: “Lift up your eyes now and look from the place where you are” (NKJV). Look from where you are! Don’t look at that place because your circumstance will put you in a circle and you will not be able to break out of it. There’s much more happening on your behalf than what you are experiencing.

Pharaoh made things tough for God’s people even after Moses told him: “let my people go.” In Exodus 7:1, “…the Lord said to Moses: See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh…” (NKJV). Don’t see what you are seeing. See who God has made you- a god to that seemingly impossible situation.  Fix your eyes on Jesus who both began and finished this race we are in. Study how He did it because He never lost sight of where He was headed. He could put up with anything along the way. Now, He is there in the place of honour, right alongside God.

Jesus will never disappoint you. Forget the past things because God is doing something new. I have come to tell you that there is much more that God has planned for you. There is much more that is happening already on your behalf than your experiences, and you will get there!
