Lord! Give Me Men!

TEXT: “So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work”. Nehemiah 4 :6.

If that assignment will prosper in your hands, there is a prayer that is necessary: Lord! Give Me Men! Men with a mind to work. Men who believes in the vision and are ready to give their best to work it out. Men who are not selfish, but sacrificial, ready to go all the way with you, because in your arrival is their arrival.

You need men of various forms and capacities all through the assignment in order for you to enjoy speed and maximize potentials. The Nehemiah anointing could express itself because of the gift of men with a mind to work. Despite the likes of Sanballant, Tobiah and Geshem and the rest of their enemies who stood against the building of the walls from inception to completion, all their oppositions and confrontations failed because of the gift of men with a mind to work.
As they build, they were battle ready to contend with the adversaries of the assignment.

Scripture says, “They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon” Neh. 4 :17. You need such men in your life: Joshua and Hur to hold up your hands in that assignment.

You need men to join forces with you in that task fighting your way through the storms of life as the mighty men that join forces with David and helped him in battle ( 1 Chron. 12 :21 ). In the land of Tob, Jephthah had vain men who gathered themselves to him and went out with him. These men were the militants with him that made his people send for him.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, give me men with a mind to work.
