LOVE…IT’S WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW
“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” – LUKE 6:2700:0001:24
As Christians, we are called to be lovers. Jesus instructs us to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. But He doesn’t stop there. He tells us to love our enemies and to do good to those who hate us! I must say, that’s too lofty for me… and it’s too lofty for you. But Jesus gives us the strength to love like that. … and how our world needs to experience that love! As we grow in His grace, speak the truth in love, and see others as He sees them, we can help lessen the undercurrent of hate in our culture and world. So make sure your words and your actions are instruments of Christ’s love, because what the world needs now really is love … His love.
