Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the children of Israel spent eighty pieces of silver to buy the head of an ass, and how five pieces of silver could only afford them dove’s dung. They had money, but their money could not fetch them value. They had money, but it could not give them the progress they needed. They had money, but their money lost value right before their very eyes. They had money, but their money didn’t make a difference.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, your money will not lose value. You will not spend so much to have so little. You will not have so much and still end up in lack. You will not look for value and not find it. You will not use your efforts to acquire what would be in comparison as nothing. Your efforts will not leave you still stranded. You will not spend your resources in order to make progress, and still remain hindered and stagnated.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, you will not use so much to get so little. You will not work as an elephant and feed like an ant. You will not work hard and end up looking like one who didn’t work hard. You will not labour and be without commensurate results. You will not be counted amongst them that have nothing to show for their efforts. You will not be counted amongst them that ended the year with no reasonable achievements.

The cycle of fruitless efforts is over in your life. The era of using a lot to get so little is over in your life. The era of working so hard, whilst your life tells a different tale, is over. The era of doing your best and ending up with the worst, is over in your life. The era of getting less than you labored for, is over. The season of being empty handed after doing all you need to do, is over.

2022 will pay off better than past years. 2022 will not lower your standards or cause your money to lose value.

Declaration

In 2022, I will not use so much to get so little, in Jesus’ name!
