MADE FOR FELLOWSHIP

Genesis 1:26 (KJV, GNB), Genesis 3:8 (KJV, GNB)

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:…Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us.And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves…*That evening they heard the LORD God walking in the garden, and they hid from him among the trees.

One of the greatest privileges we have as believers, is the privilege to have a real and personal fellowship with God. This is why God made us in His image and likeness. Do you know that God cannot relate or fellowship with any other creature that He made the way He relates and fellowships with us? If you knew how much God longs to have a deep and frequent sweet fellowship with you, you will give yourself more to fellowshipping with God. You will also not allow anything or anyone disrupt your sweet
fellowship with God.

God frequently came to have fellowship with Adam and Eve and it is possible that they did not really understand the privilege they were enjoying. Every time they were having fellowship with God, they were interacting and rubbing minds with the One who possesses all life and power and the One with whom nothing is impossible. With all the life and power God has, He can choose to do without us, but He has graciously chosen to love us so much and He does not want to do without us.

Adam and Eve lost a very rare opportunity due to their sin and the deception of the devil, but Jesus has restored this great privilege back to us. He has actually given us something better than what Adam and Eve had. Jesus has given us the privilege to relate and fellowship with God just as He does. God wants
you to maximize this privilege.

Prayer:
I thank you Heavenly Father, for the great privilege to have sweet fellowship with you, Help me to maximize this privilege more.
