MAINTAIN YOUR PACE
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (AMPC)
Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines…. though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the…God of my salvation! The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!

When you refuse to lose your joy because things do not turn out the way you expect them at first, you receive strength to keep moving forward. Instead of being moved by what you are going through, you will keep moving and you will keep making progress. You will be unstoppable. God will strengthen your feet and you will keep moving forward and overcoming the challenges you may face.
David did not say, “Though I sit down and cry in the valley of the shadow of death.” No. He said, “Though I walk through it.” Tell yourself, “No matter how bad it seems, I will keep moving because I know God is with me.” David said, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psa.27:1). God has said, “…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me,” (Heb.13:5-6).
God’s presence with you is constant and that negative situation is temporary.
Don’t stop moving because of any seemingly temporary setback. When the Philistines covered the wells of Abraham, Isaac dug them again and gave them their original names. The herdsmen of Gerar came to strive with Isaac over the wells and Isaac kept moving on and digging new wells until those striving with him got tired and left him alone, (Gen.26:18-22). Keep looking unto Jesus and running with patience the race that God has set before you. Just like Jesus, despise the shame and endure the cross, for you will soon enter into the joy set before you, (Heb.12:2). Today, may God strengthen you with might by His Spirit in your inner man, (Eph.3:16). You shall keep moving forward.
Faith Declaration:
I keep moving forward because God is with me. Nothing will stop me from moving forward and making progress.
