MAJOR WAYS THE SPIRIT INFLUENCES OUR LIVES (2)

John 16:13, 1Corinthians 2:9-10

…when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: … and he will shew you things to come. * *…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Another major way that the Holy Spirit influences our lives is by giving us divine direction, or revealing things to us. There is nothing the Holy Spirit cannot reveal to you. He can guide and lead you in all areas of your life. 1 John 2:27 speaks of how the Holy Spirit teaches us all things.

By the Spirit of God, people like Joseph and Daniel knew things supernaturally and did exploits. By the Spirit, you will know and do more than they did. The Holy Spirit can direct you and reveal things to you in your academics, business and career. Exodus 31:2-3 (NIV) says, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.” He can tell you where to go and what to do to succeed and prosper.

The Holy Spirit can guide and direct you as you pray. He does not only intercede for us when we don’t know what to pray for as we ought, (Rom.8:26-27), but He also helps us know what to pray and how to pray. Remember that He can reveal all things to us. This is why Apostle Paul said He prayed in the Spirit and then in His understanding also, (1Cor.14:15). He got direction as He prayed in the Spirit.

Pray in the Spirit right now and receive divine guidance and direction for every area of your life that you need it.
