“Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 12:40, 41 KJV
Some of you think that because you’re faced with resistance and obstacles, then you have lost. No! You have not. There is no pirate that goes after an empty ship. Why would they waste their time on it? Pirates go after a ship because of its cargo. You are carrying heavy cargo. You are carrying a great treasure. That is why the enemy is coming after you in diverse ways. But the truth is that he will never defeat you. He may bombard your ship, but you are coming out of it. For greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
When Moses returned to Egypt to deliver the Israelites, there were plagues, hail of stones, thunder and lightning. Grasshoppers devastated Egyptians’ farmlands, yet Pharaoh resisted; trying to withstand what God had spoken. Then the Lord said to Moses: There is one more ‘joker.’ After I have pulled this one out Pharaoh would have no choice but to let you go. Often times, we don’t understand this. Do you know that one of the strategies of the devil is to get you to quit? He knows that as long as you are still standing, no matter what, you must win.
The only way the devil could defeat you is to make you quit. As long as you are still standing, the devil doesn’t stand a chance against you. But if he would get you to say, yes devil you win, then it’s finished. That is the reason for the pressure you are encountering. He wants you to lose your consistency. He wants you to say with your mouth that it’s no more working. Don’t give up. Stand and keep on declaring God’s Word. Your victory is assured.
