No Confinement

7th July 2022

Scripture Reading: Judges 16: 1-25

Focus

“And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.” (Judges 16: 5)

When the lords of the Philistines approached Delilah with money in a bid for her to entice Samson, one of their goals was to bind him. The word ‘bind’ means to tie someone in such a way that the person is unable to move or even defend himself. So the whole idea behind the action of the Philistines, was confinement. They wanted to keep Samson bound and confined. They wanted to keep him at the same spot as long as possible.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every confinement against your destiny is broken. Every plot of the enemy to keep you on the same level from day to day and from year to year, is broken. Every plan of the enemy to limit your advancement and keep you within needless boundaries, is broken. Every plot of the enemy to stop you from rising higher and higher, is broken. Every attack of the enemy that wants to tie you down, is broken.

How could the Philistines be paying a huge price to have Samson, and the first thing they wanted to do was to keep him from moving? How could they desire to stagnate a man whose mandate was to be on the move? Every conspiracy to keep you at the same spot, from year to year, and limit your rising, is broken. Every attack that wants to tie your hands, so that you will not touch your portion, is broken by fire. Every bondage is broken.

Today, I decree, freedom for every bondage. I decree liberty for every confinement. I decree that your days in bondage are over. I decree that your past limits are broken. I decree that your health will not be bound; your family will not be bound; your children will not be bound; your capacity will not be bound; your career will not be bound; your business will not be bound; your future will not be bound; your destiny will not be bound.

The days of your bondage have ended. No longer shall your life be confined by the enemy.

Declaration

Every confinement in my destiny is broken into pieces, in Jesus’ name!
