No Excuse (2)

Bible Reading: Numbers 29-32

Text: “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 25 :30

Message: Jesus gave a parable about a man who called his servants and gave them talents according to their abilities. Matthew 25 :14; “For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto the his goods.” And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey’.

The others went ahead to their assignments but the unprofitable servant buried his talent his talent with excuse.

Beloved, what is your excuse in God’s kingdom? Leave everything and follow Jesus. Jame and John left their Father and the net, Elisha left oxen and plough, Ruth left her people, Zacchaeus left his honour. What have left or are you still giving excuses? Jesus speaking in Luke 14 :26, “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life aslo, he cannot be my disciple.” The world is full of excuses for all they are doing. But you child of God, there shall be a time of reckoning, so prepare to give account. All that gave excuses where not exempted from the punishment.

So, stop that excuse and work while there is still time.

Prayer: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive the power to do the king’s business with the urgency it requires without any excuse.
