Scripture Reading: Joshua 5: 13-15, 6: 1-6

Focus

“And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.” (Joshua 6: 5)

Our Focal Scripture reveals that moment when God proclaimed that the walls of the city of Jericho shall fall down flat. God was not going to let the wall fall in heaps; the walls were to fall flat. Ordinarily, when a building falls, or walls fall, they could end up in a heap that would need to be cleared off. God was not about to allow the walls of Jericho to fall in a heap and raise new issues. God caused the walls to fall down flat.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your walls of Jericho will fall down flat. They will not fall in a manner that will give you more struggles to deal with. Your walls will not fall in a manner that will compel you to face new struggles. Your solutions will not open new chapters of trouble in your life. Your advancement will not bring you new afflictions. Your open doors and gates will not be the beginning of a new season of struggles and troubles.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: your miracles will not generate new problems. Your solutions will not open the doors of negativity to your life. Your progress will not be the beginning of a chapter of negativity. Your elevation will not be like a crown of thorns. Your increase will not make you a victim. As your walls of Jericho fall down flat, your next move will be to rise upwards. As your chapters of pain are closed, new chapters of pain will not arise.

Whatsoever the Lord brings to your life, He will cause it to be perfect. The blessings of the Lord upon your life will not open the doors of sorrow and bitterness. Your good news will not be mixed with bad news. Your rising will not come with any satanic affliction. Every new door that God opens for you will be the beginning of another wave of good news that will unfold in a matter of time.

Don’t accept the lie of the enemy that your advancement will have a chapter of pain written into it. The same God that authors a matter and does not allow the enemy to finish it, will complete and perfect the matter of your rising.

Declaration

My good news will not bring me bad news; I will not wear a crown of thorns, in Jesus’ name!
