“For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”
1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV
The greatest thing that could happen to any man on this earth is to have an assurance that he is in Christ. Outside Christ there is no hope. It is not about going to church and shaking the preacher’s hand. I have always asked myself: ‘if I had died without Jesus and with what I know now about heaven and hell, where would I be?’ Each time I think of it, goose bumps come on me. That is why I thank Him every day. He opened my eyes. The Bible says that the god of this world blinded the eyes of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine in their lives (2 Corinthians 4:4). The god of this world blinded their eyes and they go about reasoning by logic.
When it comes to the things of God, you must understand that it is not based on logic. It is a revelation! And it is by faith! If you attempt to approach the things of God by logic you will miss it. The Bible just came up and said, “In the beginning God”. Logic would say: where did He come from? The Word of God is not apologetic to you. It is either you accept it or you leave it. It is up to you. The greatest thing is to be in Christ. I see people walking about the streets of the nations of the world without Jesus. My heart bleeds because they are rejecting the only answer that they need in life.
Paul the Apostle was the one who said; ‘Wherefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now, henceforth know we him no more’ (2 Corinthians 5:16). That is the end of the matter. Refuse to build your life on anything else but Christ. Determine to live in Christ for God. Take your stand in Him and not on earthly and sensual logic.
