Not the Final Whistle (2)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Zechariah 13-14

TEXT: “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me”. Micah 7 :8

Child of God, even if everything and everyone seem to have concluded on you, it is not the final whistle because until you conclude on yourself, the outcome can still turn around in your favour. All you need to launch back is the verdict of God which has already been given in your favour because you are fighting to enforce the victory of Christ Jesus in your life and destiny.

David was in a similar situation in 1 Samuel 30, in which all the men who depended on him turned against him and thought of stoning him because they came back to Ziklag and found out that their wives, their sons and daughters have been carried away captives by the enemy and the city burnt with fire.

At first, David lifted up his voice and wept with the people until their was no more power to weep, then he was greatly distressed for the people thought of stoning him, but he later encouraged himself in the LORD his God probably because he remembered that he was the destined winner and the outcome is not the final and can change in his favour if he chose to pursue after the enemy.

So he enquired from the LORD saying, “Shall I pursue after the troop? Shall I overtake them? And the LORD answered him, pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all”. And he pursued after the troop and smooth them just as God assured him, and he recovered all changing the earlier outcome.

Child of God, you have more in your favour than the adversary, so no matter the form of challenge before you, you will overcome it. Scripture says in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”. You don’t have to ever panic, there is a great ability in you waiting to explode when you put it to work “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” phil.2 :13..

Therefore, go forth and win, that whistle is not the final.
