NOTHING WORKS AGAINST THE BELIEVER
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 NLT
Beloved, I can boldly assure you that nothing works against the believer. You must therefore walk with this mentality. That is why you should always wake up in the morning and expect only good to happen to you. Everything around you may not look good but the truth is that He daily loads you with benefits. You must take your portion of the benefits.
Joseph was sold into slavery but little did they know that this was the same person God was going to use in the future to preserve their lives. His brothers meant it for evil but Joseph said to them in Genesis 50:20: “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive’’ (KJV).
Beloved, God has a million ways of turning things around for your good. What looks like a setback to you right now has the capacity to work together for your good because you are called of God! It may look like a minus to you right now, but God can still use it for your promotion; “…though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day’’
(2 Corinthians 4: 16 KJV). He goes on to say in verses 17-18: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal’’ (KJV).
God’s Word is not void of power. The truth is that there is a glory that God has prepared for you. It may be tough out there in the world, but for you, it will be different. Trust God today to turn things around for you.
